* Tspark was a once in a lifetime horse. I owned him since he was 3 weeks old. As a weanling Sheila Varian picked Tspark as the best cross of Bay El Bey (the "King Maker")on the Ivanhoe Tsultan mares. (Bay El Bey stood at Rohara Arabians on the East coast for just two breeding seasons before he returned to California). Tspark made both of us a name in the Arab industry and had a heart big as Texas. He won the IAHA Open Futurity (then called Stock Horse) in 1989 as a 4 year old. He beat some great horses - Muscateel was Reserve, and Breezi Tu was Top-5. I was the first woman and Amateur to do so. He went on to win mutiple Regional and National awards, often sharing the spotlight with his own get. Several of his foals were out of my great mare Kizzey. As he aged he went on to a different venture in the Dressage arena where he was a natural, winning easily at first and second level. He was my buddy. He was put down May 2004 at 19 due to complications of colic. He is saddly missed.
